IT'S A GIRL!!!

We finally got 'The Call' today and a few hours a later, the photos.

Here is what we know about our daughter, Violet Cassandra:

She is at the Leping Social Welfare Institute in Leping in the Jiangxi province (southern part of china).

Her birthday is April 26, 2007.

As you can see in the photos she has beautiful eyes and a full head of hair and she has the same nose as me (!).

At her medical checkup on September 13, 2007 she was 14.3 pounds, 23.23" long with a head circumfrence of 15.75".

The following have been written in her file: she is a deep sleeper, holds up her head when on her stomach, rolls over on her own, visually follows toys, can hold blocks in both hands at the same time, follows people visually, laughs out loud, knows the difference between acquaintances and strangers, is active, plays with toys, quick in reaction, has already had her first smile and is close to her caretaker.

We will know more when we receive the fully translated report on Wednesday.
